  Art Grant Submission Form: The AZ Burner Arts Fund promotes artistic expression by providing financial support for art projects at the AZ Regional Burning Man Events. The goals of this foundation are to attract a wider range of artists, inspire creativity, and foster diverse works of art that reflect the values within our community. Considerations for funding will be based on the artist and/or teams ability to establish that there is a reasonable commitment of volunteer man hours and materials, and that there is additional funding or financial resources in place. Additional considerations will be given if the regional project is playa bound; the art is interactive and/or provokes creative intelligence; whether or not the art is sustainable, versus one time burnable art; and reduce, reuse, recycle is part of the overall art plan. | ||

Regional events revolve around artistic expression, and we all benefit from the artist's endeavors. In order to establish the opportunity for art funding, the regional committee has implemented an increase in ticket prices for the events. This increase is a reflection of the communities positive response to past art projects, and the call to greater artist participation. The Art Grant Committee reserves the right to reward less than the requested amount, and/or to pay in installments based on the completion milestones. Grant recipients will sign a contract stating their intent to create their project within a proposed time frame, present their art at the projected event, provide copies of detailed receipts pertaining to their project, photos of the project, and a signed release for publicity purposes. Recipients will return any funds if project is not completed by the proposed deadline or event. Art Grant proposals for Saguaro Man 2012 - Have CLOSED. The last day of accepting applications is 3/2/12. If we receive your application after this date, it will NOT be considered. The Art Committee will then review, ask questions, request revisions and then determine the award for approved projects. The more details you include, the less questions we'll have for you, and the faster we can complete the decision process.
